Whether good or bad, chances are you've heard something about Gillette's viral new ad over the last few days. While its reviews have been mixed, one thing is for sure - everyone has something to say about the razor brand, and when was the last time that happened?

Gillette's campaign is a great example of Branded Commentary, an insight we featured in our 2019 Trend Report. In an effort to connect with their customers, top brands have been using their marketing efforts to join in on social and political conversations.
