Greetings, | In my New Roaring 20s keynote for our Future Festival Event Series, one of the most-requested slides is THIS ONE below about Post-Pandemic Tensions. My research into past pandemics shows that we don't evolve into a new normal, and we don't digress back to the old normal. Perhaps some of that is obvious. The interesting part is that we enter a period of tensions and flux; a period where we must make specific choice and change our path. Do millennial needs and leaders NOW eclipse the importance of the boomer? Do we keep shopping online and big box or support local? Do we support the class/wealth gap, or do COVID debts get paid by taxing the rich and lashing out against big brands? Many of these things were less debated pre-pandemic, but now the world changes. Across all categories, the next few years involve the resolution of TENSIONS that will dramatically change what opportunities and challenges you will face.
